Castle Hill's The Enchanted Artist, with a strong heritage in the community from ownership by Nancy Scheuermann, is now under new ownership as of November 1, 2012. The husband and wife team of Brian Swafford and Amy Miller Swafford, local Castle Hills residents, have purchased The Enchanted Artist and are currently in the process of revamping the store for the Grand Re-Opening scheduled for December 1st.
Though many improvements are in the works, Brian and Amy still want The Enchanted Artist to be the place to bring friends and family together to share an appreciation of arts and crafts. Their plan will take this artistic vision a step further by bringing in new and unique gift, accessory and decor items.
They have expressed that "Enchanted Artist is a place to embrace the various forms and expression of art, whether it is displayed on a canvas, as jewelry, or as accessories. We want you to think of stopping by here when you need a hostess gift, a thank you present or something unique for that special spot in your house. We want to get to know you and your kids through our fun classes, camps and craft activities.”
The store remains open during the remodeling, and classes are still in session and can be found on the Schedule page. Be sure to stop by and meet Brian and Amy, and their kids Canyon (9), Chase (8), and Athena (5) and see firsthand the new and exciting changes at The Enchanted Artist!
